Minority Report shot analysis

Shot 1

In this picture, a medium close up (MCU) was up was used to show that there was a lot of people. From this I can infer that maybe the person that they are going after needs to be caught quickly before he commits a crime. Also I can infer that the crime that the person was about to commit may have been a huge crime, otherwise they wouldn't have had so many police officers to take him down. Also you can see that the main officer's face seems kind of angry, which could mean that he is mad about the crime the main protagonist has committed.

                                                    Shot 2

From this wide shot (WS) I can infer that from the car, there is a lot of obstacles in the way of the main protagonist to conquer. You can also see this from the car and scaffolding in the background of the alleyway. Also, you can see the dog jumping out of the car and from that I can infer that the dog will go after the main protagonist that is on the run. This can also signify danger because when a dog is running after you, the chances are the dog will out run you because they have more legs so they can propel themselves forward. It's because of this, the dog will catch up with the main protagonist and attack him. That is why the dog or animal could represent that the main protagonist is in danger. Not only that, the person in the background coming into the alleyway could show that the main protagonist could be cornered which means he will be in danger because the police will catch him.

                                                      Shot 3

This close-up shows that the main protagonist is worried because you can see on his face that he is worried about something. from that I can infer that maybe he is worried about running from the police because in that scene he was on the run and he was close to being caught a couple of times.Maybe the main protagonist is scared or worried about being caught, as anybody would be.
