The media's representation of immigration is racist.

I disagree with the statement from the sheet,"The media's reporting of immigration is racist" because i believe that the media's reporting of immigrationas stereotypical as most people would call immigrants from countries that are in the continent of Asia or even Africa. I find this very stereotypical and not racist because immigrants, illegal or not, they come from all over the globe, from Australia to the Americas', North and South. Another reason as to why i believe that the media's reporting of immigration as stereotypical because on a TV show called "Border Force UK," they send immigrants who could be bringing in drugs to the country or not accepting them in becuase they may not have a visa.This is a documentry , however the fact that most if not all of the immigrants bringing something in to the country are of the ethnicity of Asian or African. I find this stereotypical as this is focusing on specific ethnicitys as immigrants.however this could be seen as racist by some people of the public.
